In 2016, Kandia helped me execute key elements of the launch strategy for The African Women in Technology (AWIT).

 

Kandia listened to my vision, created an awareness campaign for speaker recruitment, and led the coordination of content and speakers for panels. Kandia became a valued contributor to the conferences held in Nairobi, Kenya, and Accra, Ghana.  AWIT has appeared in local and international publications and I’ve landed major partners and sponsors like Kenyatta University, Google, and Uber, and currently am planning for the next AWIT conferences in Mozambique, South Africa, Morocco, and Nigeria.
