I had mentioned in the beginning of the session that I would like to learn more on how to delegate differently and feel more comfortable doing it. I have a few reasons why I don't delegate as much as I should and one of the reasons why I delegate less than usual is because of the amount of effort being more to explain what needs to be done rather than just doing it myself. Today, I analyzed my behavior and concluded that if I delegate less, it would be selfish and rob someone on my team the opportunity to....as you said, "develop".
Thank you for that!
To ease the burden in my head with having to delegate, I am now going by the philosophy of "To whom can I delegate now becomes who can I develop?"
